This is the year for tech upgrades, I guess. New tiny computer, new customizable keyboard and new smaller external storage.
First real snow fall of the year. Boot weather is here!

In general, I take a dim view of graffiti. This, however, makes me smile.
Buildings like this fascinate me for reasons I can't fully articulate. I guess, to my eyes, it just feels like it has a story to tell, like a grizzled chess player in the park.

It's rare but, weirdly, this is not the first time a freestanding locomotive has just randomly appeared in the middle of my neighborhood.
I got a "book nook" for Christmas - kind of like a book end, but more elaborate. Super fun, I want them all.
