In the past, you could be reckful (considerate) as well as reckless. People were also gormful (careful); feckful (responsible), ruthful (compassionate), wieldy (agile), ept (adroit), and definitely gruntled. Bring back the lost positives. -

Nov 28, 2020, 9:01 AM -05:00âStupid light softwareâ
Martin Tournoij wrote about âstupid light softwareâ. When you try to be a bit too minimalistic with your software, itâs probably âstupid light softwareâ.Thereâs also the concept of stupid light: when you save weight to the point of stupidity. You wonât be comfortable, youâll miss stuff you need, your equipment will be too fragile and break. With software I most often go from âheavyâ to âlightâ. First, I try to realize the features I need and then I try to optimize where possible. First, I will... -

Just listen to how we use the word in everyday speech: we make time, make friends, make meaning, make money, make a living, make love. â Parker Palmer, âLet Your Life Speakâ (97) You know what else we... -

I use Piwigo. My gallery: https://photos.desmondrivet.com/ I'm interested in the idea of statically generated galleries but it's unclear to me how this would work if you have GBs of photos. Where would you store the images?

I forget who originally sent me this poem, but I go back to it periodically, and it's hitting particularly hard this week.
