Evelyn and I took a 10 day trip to Spain in September 2024.

  • Seville Cathedral

The architects reportedly wanted to build a church so big the world thought they were crazy. Mission accomplished. The photos don't really convey the sheer size of the place, but it's apparently the world's largest gothic church.

  • Royal Alcazar

The Royal Alcazar is the royal family's residence is Seville. With obvious Moorish influence, it looks like something out of Morocco.

A large, peaceful park next to Plaza de Espana. Nice place to take a rest and do some reading.

  • Plaza De Espana

Plaza de Espana is one of Seville's main postcard shots. A huge, colourful building, it's hard to get it all in one photo.

  • Park Guell

Another Gaudi creation, this place looks like something out a Dr. Seuss book

  • Sagrada Familia

Architected by Gaudi, this cathedral doesn't look like it was designed so much as grown.

  • Casa Batllo

Casa Batllo looks like it was built from bones. It's pretty fun to look at.
