Oh man, Daniel Dennet died? He's my first introduction to the philosophy of consciousness. I found he struck a good balance between scientific realism and the desire to preserve the reality of our personal conscious experience.

May 9, 2024, 7:34 PM -04:00I realize Daniel Dennett is a pretty obscure name, but he was pretty big in Philosophy of Mind circles and I was pretty into that kind of thing when I was in University and even as I type this I understand how much of a dork that makes me sound like.
